Jail for man called 'a danger to children'
A man described by police as a "danger to children" has been jailed for a series of sexual offences.
Aiden Whittingham, of Whinfield Avenue, Keighley, had been accused of making and possessing indecent images of a child, voyeurism and sexual activity with a child.
The 20-year-old was convicted following a trial at Bradford Crown Court.
Whittingham was jailed for five years and was also made subject of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
'Bravery of victims'
Det Con Paul Maxwell said West Yorkshire Police welcomed the sentence given to Whittingham on Monday.
"He is a danger to children. I would like to praise the bravery of the victims in coming forward and reporting these crimes to us.
"Offences of this nature are always taken very seriously, and we have a dedicated specialist safeguarding team who will support victims to get them justice."
