Second man charged over town assault

A second person has been charged over a serious assault in a Leicestershire town.
A man suffered a fractured skull and a bleed on the brain when he was attacked in Needhams Walk, Coalville, on 28 January.
Leicestershire Police said a 24-year-old man from Coalville was charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent and was due in court next month.
A 29-year-old man from Ashby was previously charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
Two women, aged 35 and 40, who were arrested in connection with the incident, have been released with no further action.
