Warwickshire Police were called to the scene in Grendon Road in Polesworth at around 03:30 BST on Thursday.
The driver of the blue Seat Ibiza was taken to hospital with a serious head injury.
An appeal has been launched into the crash - with any witnesses who saw the vehicle before the collision asked to come forward.
West Midlands Ambulance Service was called at about 03:45 BST.
The driver was out of the vehicle and was treated by ambulance staff before being taken to University Hospital Coventry and Warwickshire.
His family have been informed, said police.
A spokesperson for the force said: "Anyone with information that could help officers with their investigation, particularly anyone who saw the vehicle before the collision, or has dashcam of the vehicle, is asked to report to Warwickshire Police."
