A man in his 70s has died after a single vehicle crash on the A47.
The emergency services were called to a stretch close to Wendling, between Dereham and Swaffham in Norfolk, on Monday afternoon.
It is understood the car collided with a roadside hedgerow and the driver died at the scene.
The road was closed for a time and police are appealing for witnesses.
The incident occurred at 13:23 GMT, Norfolk Police said.
Police said they would like to speak to anyone who may have witnessed the collision or who has dashcam footage.
A force spokesperson said a white Nissan Qashqai collided with the hedgerow.
"The road was closed whilst emergency services attended the scene including ambulance and fire," they added.
"Sadly, the driver of the Qashqai, a man aged in his 70s, died at the scene."
