Police have raided a holiday park more than 80 miles away from a town where a man was shot and another man was stabbed.
A man with gunshot wounds to his arms arrived at Royal Oldham Hospital on 22 May and CCTV footage led officers to Busk Road in the town, where a man was found stabbed.
Two men had been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder during the raid at a site in Abergele, North Wales, on Tuesday, Greater Manchester Police (GMP) said.
A third man was held on suspicion of assisting an offender.
'Moving at pace'
Two men have previously been charged with attempted murder and possession of an offensive weapon.
GMP said its major incident team had carried out warrants at the holiday park with the assistance of North Wales Police.
Officers had arrested a total of eight people as part of the investigation into the shooting and stabbing, the force added.
Det Insp Alex Wilkinson said nine properties had been searched so far.
He said: 鈥湸笙蟠 is far from over but the investigation is moving at pace, and we continue to work relentlessly to capture a picture of what happened leading up to the incident."
He urged anyone with any CCTV, mobile phone or dashcam footage from the night of the shooting to come forward.
