Two teenagers have denied murdering a boy who was stabbed to death near a shopping centre.
Isaac Brown, 15, died after he was attacked in New Square, West Bromwich, shortly before 21:30 BST on 7 April.
Two boys, aged 13 and 17, pleaded not guilty to murder, robbery and possession of a bladed article during a hearing at Wolverhampton Crown Court on Friday.
The pair, from Smethwick, who cannot be named due to their age, are next due to appear at the same court for a pre-trial hearing on 13 September.
Judge Michael Chambers KC said the trial was likely to take place in the middle of November.
In a tribute released shortly after his death, Isaac鈥檚 family described him as a wonderful boy who was "fun and mischievous, always smiling and always there to help".
