Man rushed to hospital after house fire
A man has been taken to hospital after a house fire in Stoke-on-Trent.
The property near Hunters Way, Penkhull, was found well alight shortly after 01:00 BST on Friday.
The victim, who is in his 50s, is not thought to be in a life-threatening condition, said Staffordshire Police, which is appealing for information as officers work to establish what caused the fire.
At the height of the incident, firefighters from Hanley, Newcastle, Longton, and Burslem were in attendance.
