A motorcyclist has died after crashing into a parked van, police have said.
The incident happened at 23:45 GMT on Monday on Federation Road in Stoke-on-Trent.
Police said a man in his 20s was treated by paramedics for serious injuries and later pronounced dead at the scene.
They said the man was riding a KTM motorbike, and nobody was in the van at the time.
Officers now want to speak to anyone who saw what happened, as well as anyone with CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from the area at the time.
Anyone who can assist is asked to call 101, quoting incident 799 of 11 March.
