Sark politicians pull plans for civil servant post
Proposals for a new civil servant post in Sark have been pulled by the island's top political committee.
Conseillers were to consider changing the post of chief secretary to "director of civil service and engagement" at a meeting on Thursday.
It had previously been agreed in July the Policy and Finance Committee would assess the "role, duties and functions" of the person needed to replace the chief secretary.
The selection process for a new candidate had been proposed to take place in the autumn.
Sark politicians have proposed to bring back the plans before the next budget meeting on 22 November.
