Three arrests after assault near scout hut

Three people have been arrested following a serious assault near a scout hut in Surrey.
Police were called to Buckland Road, Lower Kingswood, at 15:40 BST on Monday after reports that a man had been assaulted.
The victim was taken to hospital with serious head injuries which are not believed to be life-threatening, police said.
A 22-year-old man, from Merstham, a 32-year-old woman, from Epsom Downs, and a 20-year-old woman, from Merstham, have been arrested on suspicion of assault causing grievous bodily harm.
All three remain in police custody.
Anyone who witnessed the assault in Buckland Road, near to the scout hut, are urged to contact police.
