Second man charged over street stabbing
A second man has been charged as part of an investigation into an attempted murder in Oxford.
A man in his 40s was stabbed on Manzil Way, near Central Oxford Mosque, on 13 March.
Shahroz Ali Khan, 24, of Mortimer Road, Oxford, was arrested on Tuesday, and later charged with conspiracy to commit murder, and money laundering.
Hassan Hussain, 24, of Nye Bevan Close, Oxford, was previously charged with attempted murder and having an imitation firearm and a knife.
Thames Valley Police said the victim suffered serious injuries in the attack and required hospital treatment. He has since been discharged.
Mr Hussain is remanded in custody and is awaiting trial.
Mr Khan is due to appear at Oxford Magistrates' Court later.
