A project in Devon is using sport and other activities to try to encourage men to talk about their mental health.

was organised to provide companionship and fun to offer support to men who are struggling.

The organisation provides a wide range of free activities for men to attend, aiming to turn the subject of men's mental health into an open conversation.

The group was co-founded in 2022 by Alex Dawson, whose own experience of trauma as a police officer led him to retire early from the force.

He said: "The support that everyone gives each other here without knowing is priceless."

He added: "The smiles, the laughter - we can see that this project is working."
