A property in Kent which police have linked to persistent antisocial behaviour and disorder has been issued with a closure order.

Complaints made about the address in Lawrance Square, in Northfleet, have been over issues including criminal damage, threatening behaviour and intimidation, drug misuse, and noise, officers said.

Kent Police was granted a three-month order on Friday against any unauthorised person entering the property.

Officers ensured the local authority-owned property was empty and have now secured it.

Sgt Steve Cole said: "Residents and visitors to the area have suffered anti-social behaviour and incidents of disorder involving those using this premises for some time.

"Any other people who choose to pursue an anti-social and often criminal lifestyle can expect similar consequences."
