Teen arrested over playground arson

A teenager has been arrested on suspicion of arson after part of a playground was set alight in Hull.

On 24 September, Humberside Police received reports that playground equipment had been set alight on West Park.

The climbing frame and slide was so badly damaged it was demolished and removed by Hull City Council, which closed the park for two days.

A 15-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of arson. Police said he had been released while inquiries continue.
