A Metropolitan Police officer has been sacked without notice for making sexist and misogynistic posts online.

PC Daniel Naggea created several offensive posts on TikTok in which he objectified women and appeared to justify domestic abuse.

Mr Naggea was also found to be dishonest in claiming during his recruitment vetting process that he did not use social media.

A Met spokesperson described the posts as "offensive and and disrespectful" and that his behaviour was "well below the standards the force expects of its officers".

The hearing found Mr Naggea breached standards of professional behaviour relating to discreditable conduct at the level of gross misconduct.

He will be added to the barred list held by the College of Policing, meaning he cannot be employed by police and a number of related bodies.
