Council tax freeze agreed in Western Isles

Households in the Western Isles will see their council tax bills frozen in the coming year.
People living in a band D property will still pay £1290.75 for the year.
Councillors on Comhairle nan Eilean Siar also approved £1.7m of savings with £435,000 coming from the schools and education budget.
The council has allocated about half of its financial reserves to help avoid further cuts to services.
