Man, 73, dies in motorbike crash on A1
A 73-year-old man has died after his motorbike crashed into a central reservation on the A1.
Emergency services including the Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire Air Ambulance were called to the southbound carriageway near the A607 junction at Grantham.
Lincolnshire Police said the motorbike rider was pronounced dead shortly before 13:30 BST on Sunday.
Both sides of the dual carriageway were closed at the A52 and A607 junctions but have since reopened.
The force is investigating the incident and has appealed for anyone who may have dashcam footage of the incident or has captured a green BSA Goldstar motorcycle in the moments before the crash to get in touch.
