Motorcyclist dies after crash near roundabout

A 58-year-old man has died following a motorbike crash near Crewe, police have confirmed.

The rider was fatally injured at about 18.00 BST on Saturday, near the Meremoor Moss roundabout in Weston.

He was taken to hospital before he died from his serious injuries, following the collision with street furniture, Cheshire Police said.

The force has appealed for witnesses or those with dashcam footage to contact them.
