Mountain Road remains shut for landslip repairs
The A18 Mountain Road is to remain closed until Sunday while the site of a landslip is made safe, the Department of Infrastructure has said.
A retaining wall is being constructed at the base of the area affected between Ramsey Hairpin and Waterworks corner.
The route has been closed between the Barrule Park in Ramsey and the Bungalow since the landslip happened on 27 December following heavy rainfall.
The road is the main route between the north and the island's capital.
It is due to reopen from 18:00 GMT on 7 January.
