A man has been arrested in connection with reports of a trespassing incident on a railway line near Leeds, which caused hours of disruption to train services.
British Transport Police (BTP) said officers were called to tracks near the station just before 09:00 BST.
Services running to and from Leeds from places including York, Harrogate, Wakefield and Sheffield were severely delayed or cancelled as a result.
A spokesperson for BTP said a 32-year-old man from Leeds had been arrested on suspicion of trespass.
Lines reopened just after 11:00 BST after the incident was concluded, but there were knock-on effects on trains for several hours afterwards as a logjam around the station cleared.
