Forensic probe under way after two injured in assault

Forensic investigations are being carried out behind a police cordon in the centre of Derby.
Officers were called to a report of an assault in Curzon Street at about 04:30 BST on Sunday where two people were found injured.
Two people have been taken to hospital however the extent of their injuries is not yet known, the force said.
A closure is in place, between Friar Gate, through the junction with Friary Lane, Newland Street and Abbey street and up to Mercian Way, with police investigations being carried out at the scene.
Five forensic officers in white suits can be seen combing Curzon Street, with colleagues taking photographs nearby.
A Derbyshire Police spokesperson said: 鈥淚nvestigations into the incident are ongoing and a scene is currently in place.鈥
Police at the scene added that the road was likely to reopen early on Sunday afternoon.
