Police have appealed for witnesses after a rape in York city centre earlier.
North Yorkshire Police said the incident happened between 03:30 BST and 04:00 BST in the Piccadilly and North Street areas.
The victim was being supported by specialist officers, the force said.
A spokesperson said: "Detectives would like to speak to anyone who was in the area at the time who may have seen something".
They also said they were keen to hear from any motorists or taxi drivers with any dashcam footage from the area.
