Boy, 4, taken to hospital after being hit by bus

A four-year-old boy has been hit by a bus in a Leicestershire village.
Leicestershire Police said the boy suffered minor injuries and was taken to hospital after the collision in Rothley Road, Mountsorrel, on Thursday.
Officers said they were called to the scene by East Midlands Ambulance Service at 12:03 BST.
The road was closed at its junction with The Navins, with a bus service diverted and the force advising drivers to take alternative routes.
