A man has denied attempted murder over a stabbing at a hotel previously used to house asylum seekers.

A 25-year-old man was injured in the attack at the Pear Tree Inn in Hindlip, Worcestershire on 2 April.

Callum Parslow, from Worcester, appeared at the Old Bailey on Friday.

The 32-year-old admitted wounding with intent and to having a bladed article, but pleaded not guilty to a charge of attempted murder connected to terrorism.

A future court date has yet to be set.
