Police hunt man seen leaving house before blaze

Police are looking for a man seen leaving a house shortly before it was gutted in a fire.
Firefighters dealt with the blaze at about 06:10 BST in Windsor Street, New Brighton, Wirral.
Merseyside Police said nobody was in the house when the fire, which caused "extensive damage", broke out.
A joint investigation into its cause is being carried out by Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service and Merseyside Police.

Det Insp Sean Cloherty said: "The investigation is in the early stages as we carry out enquiries in the area.
"I am particularly keen to trace and speak with a male who was seen on Windsor Street approximately 04:00 and I would urge anyone with information as to his identity to contact us."
He also appealed for anyone with CCTV, doorbell or dashcam footage to contact police.
