Arrests after police stand-off following stabbing

Armed police have been involved in a lengthy stand-off at a property in Lincoln after a man was found with stab wounds.

Officers were called to a residence on Ellison Street, Bracebridge, at 15:47 BST on Friday where they found a man with life-threatening injuries.

Two women, aged 27 and 37, were arrested at the property on suspicion of attempted murder.

A third suspect, a 34-year-old man, was also arrested on suspicion of attempted murder at 04:15 BST this morning following negotiations with specially trained officers.

Lincolnshire Police said the injured man remains in a critical condition.

The road remains closed while officers continue to investigate.

Police are calling for any witnesses or anyone with footage or information about the incident to contact them.
