The owners hope to build new units on a paddock next to the business park

About 100 jobs could be created, developers say, if plans for an expansion of a business park outside of Hereford are given the go-ahead.

Owners are asking for permission to build 10 mixed-sized units on a 1.4-hectare (3.5 acres) paddock next to Whitestone business park, just off the A4103 to Worcester.

The current business park is fully occupied, they add, with the new jobs including a mix of industrial and office-based roles.

A planning application by Piper Homes for a 33-home estate on the land was refused in May 2022, while earlier permission to build 80 "extra care" supported housing flats lapsed in 2018.

Comments on the current application can be made until 29 February.
