Body found following search for missing swimmer
Police have confirmed the discovery of a body on a beach in north Cornwall.
A man was reported missing in the Northcott Mouth area of Bude on 4 June.
The swimmer's disappearance prompted a search by HM Coastguard, the RNLI, police and paramedics but it was called off the following day.
Devon and Cornwall Police, which was called to the Crackington Haven area at 20:45 BST on Tuesday, said formal identification had yet to take place but the man's family had been made aware.
