Man killed in crash on busy road

Officers investigating a fatal crash in Derbyshire are appealing for witnesses and dashcam footage.

Derbyshire Police said a Mercedes A200, a Ford Transit van and a DAF truck were involved in the collision on the A6 Buxton Road in Chapel-en-le-Frith at 07:30 GMT on Tuesday.

The driver of the Mercedes, a 41-year-old man, was pronounced dead at the scene.

The force said his family were aware and its thoughts were with them.

People with information are urged to contact the force.
