Man held after pedestrian struck in two-car crash
A man has been arrested after a pedestrian was hit by a car in Coventry.
Two cars were involved in a crash on Sky Blue Way, near the junction of Lower Ford Street, at about 13:00 GMT on Wednesday.
The victim, a man in his 20s, was struck by one of the cars and was taken to hospital with potentially life-changing injuries, West Midlands Police said.
A 28-year-old man has been arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving, a force spokesperson said.
The driver of one of the cars was also taken to hospital, but his injuries are not though to be serious.
