Car hits house as it crashes off road

A car crashed into the side of a house as it came off a road in Stafford.

The collision happened at the junction of Old Croft Road and Oakridge Way, with the Vauxhall hitting the single-storey side of the detached property.

One local resident said they were in "total shock - I've never seen anything like it before".

Staffordshire Police has been asked for more details about the crash, while West Midlands Ambulance Service said it could not see anything about the incident on its system.
