Man accused of murder appears in court
A man has appeared in court accused of murdering another man in Skegness.
Officers were called to Grosvenor Road at about 19:00 BST on 19 August and found Rhys Howell, 57, with serious injuries. He died a short time later, Lincolnshire Police said.
David Lupton, 60, of Grosvenor Road, Skegness, who has been charged with murder, appeared briefly at Lincoln Crown Court earlier. He spoke only to confirm his name.
Mr Lupton was remanded into custody until 23 September, when he is expected to enter a plea.
