Woman arrested after unexplained death of supermarket worker
A woman has been arrested after the unexplained death of a 61-year-old supermarket worker in Arbroath.
Officers were called to Asda in Westway Retail Park, Arbroath, at about 19:25 on Sunday.
Police Scotland said the man, who has not been named, was unresponsive and pronounced dead at the scene.
A force spokesperson said a 37-year-old woman had been charged in connection with an assault and was due to appear before Forfar Sheriff Court on Tuesday.
They added: "The death is being treated as unexplained at this time and a post mortem examination will be carried out in due course."
