Woman in 'life-threatening' condition after crash
A woman was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries after a "single-vehicle collision", police said.
The crash happened in Avey Lane, Waltham Abbey, Essex at about 04:30 BST.
A 28-year-old was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by careless driving.
Detectives appealed for witnesses or anyone with dashcam footage from the scene to get in touch.
