Woman bailed after village attack arrest

A man who suffered a head injury in a Derbyshire village on Sunday remains in hospital in a serious condition.
Police were called by East Midlands Ambulance Service at about 00:30 BST on Sunday after a man in his 20s was found injured in Station Road, Hatton.
He is thought to have been the victim of an assault between Saturday evening and the early hours of Sunday.
A woman in her 20s was arrested by Derbyshire Police on suspicion of causing grievous bodily harm with intent.
She has since been released on conditional bail, say police, who have appealed for any witnesses to come forward as enquiries remain ongoing.
