Police officer hit by motorbike in alleyway
A police officer is recovering after being hit by a motorbike in Whitby.
North Yorkshire Police stopped an orange motocross-style bike in an alleyway off St Peter's Road at around 13:05 BST on Tuesday.
It was then driven into a police officer, who suffered bruising to their arms and legs.
Police have made an appeal to identify the owner of the bike, which had been ridden around Helredale Road, Larpool Crescent, Rahilla Close and St Peter's Road.
