Det Sgt Andria Ross of West Mercia Police said they were keen to hear from anyone who may remember seeing the car in the car park as they may information which could help.

It was the only one on the car park, part of the Dudmaston estate on the River Severn and 17 miles (27km) from his home, when police were alerted to it.

Mr Blackshaw is 5ft 7in (1.7m), and was last seen wearing dark jeans and a blue-and-white Lonsdale hoodie.

Det Sgt Ross added anyone currently with Mr Blackshaw should call 999, while other information about his movements could be given on the non-emergency number, 101.
