One in hospital after crash in icy conditions
A person has been taken to hospital after a four-vehicle crash in icy conditions on the A30 in Cornwall, police have said.
Devon and Cornwall Police said officers was called to the crash near the Jamaica Inn at about 07:00 GMT.
A road closure was in place in the east-bound carriageway but lanes reopened at about 10:20 GMT, officers said.
The force said the injuries of the person who was taken to hospital were not believed to be "life-threatening or life-changing".
Officers said they had received reports of icy and slippery conditions in the area, adding there were reports of various other crashes on the A30 throughout the morning.
"We ask motorists to take extra care during their journeys," the force said.
