Biker suffers leg injuries in A39 crash

Motorists faced tailbacks and delays on Wednesday morning

A crash involving a biker caused delays on a major road in Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to the A39 at Carnon Gate Roundabout, in Devoran, at about 08:00 BST.

Officers said the male motorcyclist sustained leg injuries and was taken to Treliske Hospital.

An ambulance attended the crash and there were traffic delays while the vehicle was recovered.

The road was clear by 15.10 BST, officers said.
