Two people have been arrested after police found weapons, suspected stolen bikes and about £200,000 in cash.

The pair were arrested after officers searched an address on Colclough Road in Stoke-on-Trent on Wednesday.

Two large knives were seized along with pepper spray, a taser device and the haul of cash, which police said was in the region of £200,000.

Officers also found a number of e-bikes and motorbikes, which they believed to have been stolen.

A man and woman, both aged 29, were arrested on suspicion of money laundering and possession of criminal property.
