Injured man rescued from tower block fire
A man has been injured following a fire at a tower block in Stourbridge.
Firefighters rescued him after the blaze broke out on the fourth floor of a high-rise building in Green Street.
Another resident from a nearby flat was also led to safety with no injuries, West Midlands Fire Service has said.
The cause of the fire, which happened at about 12:40 BST on Thursday, has not yet been determined.
It was extinguished by 13:36, the fire service added, and crews remained at the scene to check for smoke logging in neighbouring flats and to conduct welfare checks.
West Midlands Police and West Midlands Ambulance Service were also in attendence.
