Nurse struck off for sending underwear to colleague

A nurse has been struck off after he sent lingerie to a colleague for secret Santa.
Charges against Timothy Alan Bray also included telling a colleague they had a "peachy bum", non-consensual touching of colleagues and entering a changing room while colleagues were getting dressed.
He was issued with a striking off order following a Nursing and Midwifery Council Fitness to Practise Committee hearing in February.
The panel partially or entirely proved 18 charges against Bray, who worked as a senior nurse at Wye Valley NHS Trust in Herefordshire at the time of the incidents, between 2016 and 2021.
Bray said he could remember some allegations, but not others.
He added that he was devastated at causing distress to a number of young female colleagues.
The former senior nurse was dismissed by letter on 18 August, 2021.
The panel found Bray鈥檚 behaviour was wholly incompatible with remaining on the nursing register and it was decided that it would undermine public confidence if Bray was allowed to continue practising.
