Two more First Bus drivers in Bradford have been suspended following concerns raised about their activity on social media, the company has confirmed.

It comes after another First Bus driver in the city was suspended this week pending an investigation into a Facebook post depicting aggression against Muslim people.

The caption "enough is enough", which was not written by that employee but was shared by the driver from another account, appeared alongside the image.

A First Bus spokesperson said: "I can confirm three drivers have been suspended. The investigations are following internal processes and there is no update to be provided at this stage."

When concerns about the social media posts were raised on X, formerly known as Twitter, the First Bus West Yorkshire account posted: "We take the safety of our passengers seriously."

"Our internal team has been made aware of this and this would be investigated internally," it added.
