Woman hit by car has life-threatening injuries
A woman suffered life-threatening injuries when she was hit by a car on a pedestrian crossing, say police.
The 19-year-old from the Launceston area was hit in Coburg Street, Plymouth, just before 11:15 BST on Monday and is being treated at the city's Derriford Hospital.
The driver, a man in his 40s from the Plymouth area, was uninjured, said the Devon and Cornwall force.
Officers are appealing for witnesses to the crash which happened near the James Street junction.
