A 14-year-old boy has been arrested on suspicion of possession of an offensive weapon after a school was put into lockdown.
Police officers were called shortly before 14:00 BST to Dorcan Academy, in Swindon.
The school, which teaches 11 to 16-year-olds, was placed into lockdown as a precaution but restrictions have since been lifted, Wiltshire Police said.
The force said there were no reports of any injuries and it does not believe there is any further risk to the public.
