Plans for a town centre tapas bar whose owners want to sell alcohol from 08:00 have attracted more than 70 objections from local residents.
Shropshire Council's licensing committee will discuss on Wednesday to convert two units in The Parade in Shrewsbury.
The building is a mixture of shops and flats and the applicant has also asked for permission to play music and host live performances.
Objectors have raised concerns about potential noise and smells, as well as anti-social behaviour.
If approved, "Bobby's" would be allowed to serve drinks from 08:00 until 22:30 on Sundays and 08:00 until 23:30 on all other days.
It would be allowed to play live and pre-recorded music until 00:00, when it closes.
