A "serial abuser" who sexually assaulted seven young boys over a 30-year period has been jailed for 23 years.
Keith Lockwood, 70, was sentenced after being convicted of 23 offences committed against boys under the age of 16 in the 1970s, '80s and '90s in the Kirklees area.
Lockwood, of Park Lane, Keighley, was jailed at Leeds Crown Court on Friday.
Det Con Gilly Hodds said Lockwood was guilty of an "appalling catalogue of offending against victims who were young and vulnerable."
She added: "Victims in this case demonstrated exceptional bravery in coming forward and supporting both the police and CPS in taking action against a man who has been a serial abuser of children whilst in a position of trust.
鈥淭his is another case which demonstrates it is possible for victims to seek and receive justice, even years after offending has taken place."
West Yorkshire Police said Lockwood's name was already on the sex offenders register and would remain so for life.
