Woman, 82, injured after car hits tree
An 82-year-old woman has been taken to hospital after her car hit a tree in Devon, police have said.
The crash happened on the A3052 at Branscombe at about 14:30 BST on Saturday, officers said.
Police said the woman had been driving a Toyota Yaris which left the road.
She had to be freed from the vehicle by firefighters before being taken to hospital.
The road was closed for more than three hours while an investigation took place.
Devon and Cornwall Police appealed for anyone with information or video footage to contact them.
