A group of delivery drivers have been targeted by knife-wielding robbers.

Delivery workers regularly congregate outside of McDonald's on Middlesbrough's Linthorpe Road as they wait for orders.

Several were outside the restaurant at about 17:50 BST on Thursday when two men threatened them with a knife before stealing a bicycle, Cleveland Police said.

A 21-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the robbery and has been released on bail while inquiries continue, the force added.

The force has appealed to the victim and witnesses to come forward.
