A murder inquiry has been launched after a man was struck by a car in a suspected hit-and-run.
Ryan Griffiths, 29, died in hospital on Friday morning following an incident in Burleigh Road, Merridale, Wolverhampton, on Wednesday evening.
West Midlands Police said it believed Mr Griffiths was struck by a dark-coloured car just before 21:00 BST and the vehicle involved then drove away.
CCTV and doorbell footage is being reviewed by officers.
Door-to-door inquiries were ongoing and a forensic examination of the scene has been carried out.
